GROWING YOUR PERSPECTIVE
If you missed NAD's "Real Talk, Good Action" webinar series this most recent session delves into raw experiences of Black Deaf panelists. It provides insights on how they are treated by their peers, how there's a lack of Black Deaf mentors in the field and explores tokenism.
UNDERSTANDING NEURODIVERSITY
Fellow K-12 interpreter, Elizabeth Lucarelli, will provide a ShareShop on experiences as a neurodivergent person. She will share insights on how to team in a way that's more inclusive. Additionally, she'll provide suggestions on how to make presentations, workshops, etc. more accessible for neurodiverse humans!

DIGGING DEEPER
As part of SLR's commitment to expand knowledge around subjects of power, privilege and oppression (PPO), we are offering reimbursement for another Diversity Academy course.
