SLR-MENTORSHIP PROGRAM - JUNE/JULY/AUGUST 2023 CYCLE

We are coming to the close of our June/July/August 2023 cycle. This cycle had a total of 6 mentor/mentee pairs - a total of 12 participants. One mentor/mentee pair have been working together under the SLR Mentorship Program for a year! At our last group meeting they gave a wonderful presentation about the benefits of a long term mentoring relationship. This presentation inspired another pair who started their work together in the February/March/April cycle to continue to work together in this recent cycle. 

During this cycle, two mentor/mentee pairs took advantage of our 'swap' opportunity. This allowed them to gain a new perspective and fresh eye on their work. Amy Rubinger, mentorship program coordinator, facilitated this and always encourages all participants to reach out to one another for resources and support.

Applications for the upcoming October/November/December 2023 cycle will go out this week.
